Saturday Meme

Boy I'm out of commission for a short period of time and everybody decides to get chatty on their blogs!! I've missed some memes so I am going to try and get caught up.

First up here is your local sky and temp

Janet tagged me for 7 random things. While I just recently posted some somewhere (too tired to search for it) I will still play.

1. I will never post 100 things abt me so that I can participate in these 7 random thingies.
2. I still don't completely get Ravelry.
3. Because of this I have yet to sign up.
4. When I think about signing up and see there are THOUSANDS of people ahead of me, I leave the site.
5. I'm also afraid to join because from what I can tell, it sucks up more time than a black hole.
6. I already spend more time on the computer than I should.
7. I'm always amazed at friends who can let days go by w/o checking their emails or looking something up on line.

Dee has presented me with the *Make My Day* award!
BTW am I the only one that thinks of Dirty Harry when I hear this line?!? Anyway thank you so much Dee for this honor. I'm sending it right back atcha!
As far as tagging others, that's a hard one. There are many that make my day, but I'll try to list a few.

I'm not sure who compiled this list, but not one of them is a movie by John Hughes. West Side Story wasn't on it either. Or Grease. Just goes to show you how subjective these lists really can be.

As far as tagging others, if you want to play, you are tagged!

Tomorrow I will post my B picture. Now it's time for me to go back to bed and watch a movie. Most likely one by John Hughes.

Sorry to hear that you haven't been feeling well. Hopefully by Monday if you get some rest you'll be better. There sure seems to be a lot of sickness going around lately.

As to Make My Day, yes the first thing I think of is Dirty Harry. Funny how some things stick in your mind. Thanks for the tag.

It was interesting reading the movie listing, and you're right on it being so subjective. There are several movies I love so much I watch over and over and they didn't get listed. Oh well, having a list is fun though if you want to try a new movie and don't know where to start.

Thanks for the tag! I love reading your blog, too. You are always so upbeat. But what does it say about me that I've seen all but three of the movies on that list???

thanks for the tag.

I must not get out much- many of the movies I didn't recognize.

And thanks again for the leafy warm sky pix. (was -8 again this morning).

OMG! You tagged me?? If I hadn't popped in to read your blog, I would never have known. haha

Baby Girl is adorable. My niece started dancing back when. She's 18 now, and still dancing. They learn a lot through dancing lessons, and not all of it is dancing. Self esteem, grace and posture, and so much more. Good for her.

Thank you too, for the Banana muffin recipe. Maybe I'll give that a try.

Have a great day lady! :)

Well, I let days go by and didn't see the award for me. Thanks! But please do give Ravelry a try. For one thing, you can see all your friends blogs in one place, at least all the knitting friends that are on Ravelry, then you don't have to check individual blogs all the time. It could be time consuming if you let it, but it's also a very useful tool for keeping track of projects, look up patterns, finding inspirations.
